Candelaria De La Cruz was born February 2, 1921 in Bisbee Arizona. She went to be with our Lord Jesus on October 24, 2015.

Candelaria was preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Reyes Moreno. Also by her husband Jesus Jose (Hito) De La Cruz, her brother David Moreno, and sisters Carmen Valenzuela and Cecilia Avery. She is survived by her son Robert, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Numerous nephews and nieces and by her nephew and nieces that were also her caregivers; Bertha Acuna, Jo Renteria, Ernest Jimenez Jr., Anna Rodriguez, Rachel Avery, Marta Vega, special caregivers Anna Encinas and Alma Morales.

After her marriage Cande moved to California. During World War II, she was a “Rosie the Riveter”, she worked on airplanes. She also worked in a fishing cannery. After her accident, which left her partially disabled, she was a homemaker and at times beaded the tops of moccasins as a work at home industry.

We would like to thank Windmill Rach staff for providing loving care for our Aunt in her last days. She is greatly missed by all.
