Cameron David Schmidt, 23, of Newnan, Georgia passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday March 1, 2022.
Cameron was a 2017 graduate of East Coweta High School and was employed by Discount Tires. He was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church in Newnan, GA.
Cam never met a stranger. He was larger than life in appearance and personality! If you ever met him, you would always remember him and how he made you feel! He always wanted to make people feel good whether by making them laugh or encouraging them in some way. His heart was as big as his stature-kindness to the core! His love for his family and friends is far beyond describable. Always there to lend a hand or to just hang out. The legacy he leaves is one to be proud of and one to strive for. He was an amazing young man living life to the fullest with a vibrant spirit, a gentle soul, a helping hand, and a heart filled with so much love for all!!
Cameron is preceded in death by grandfathers Airvie Hurley, Wayne Schmidt, and Charles Sayers.
Survivors include his parents David and Jenny Schmidt of Newnan, GA, Pam and Keith Hand of Augusta, GA, brothers Jeff Holmes and Ben Holmes, sister Morgan Schmidt, brother in law to be Noah Baldwin, girlfriend Jaidyn Carlisle, grandfather Billy Alford, grandmothers, Dale Hurley, Joyce Sayers, and Janet Alford, and a host of several special and dear cousins, aunts, uncles, a step brother, 2 step sisters, and other extended family members.
