Mr. Calvin “Peter” Stewart, Jr. was born to the late Calvin and Mamie Stewart on October 30, 1930 in Birmingham, AL.
He lived in the East Thomas Community all of his life and offered his help and companionship to many of his neighbors. He was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church of East Thomas.
On Sunday, April 10, 2011 he was called home at sunset.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James D Stewart, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories his sister-in-law, Juanita Stewart; one niece and nephew, Michelle Warren and Pastor James (Kimberly) D. Stewart, Jr. both Birmingham, Al; one cousin, Evelyn Hardy; and host of nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
