On Wednesday, December 9th, 2020, Calvin Eugene Deckard, passed away at the age of 93. Calvin was born in 1927 in Mt. Victory, Ohio to Valentina and Lena Deckard. He married Mary L.
Calvin spent most of his life in the Village of Ridgeway, Ohio area and dedicated many years of service to the town. His community service included Mayor, Councilman, and volunteer firefighter.
Calvin is preceded in death by his parents (Valentina and Lena), son (Forrest Michael), and a sister (Idella Loy). He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Mary, grandson Vince (Ronda), great grandson Grant, brother Dwight (Audrey), sister Norma (Cliff Shirk), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
