Mr. Miller was born on September 30, 1944 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Jessie Miller and the late Olivia Collier Miller. He departed this life on July 7, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus. He was a graduate of Lakeside High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam Era. He was a retiree of Goodyear Mill with 28 years of service. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and devoted wife, Mattie Wray Miller; two sons, Quincy (Danita) Miller and Calvin Jermaine Miller; one sister, Margaret (Jessie) Jackson; one brother, Curtis (Elizabeth) Miller; two grandchildren, Mya Amare Miller and Quincy Edward Miller Jr. all of Decatur and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the loving and devoted medical staff that are to numerous to name individually, but the family will always be eternally grateful.
