Uncasville- Calvin E. “Ki” Gray, Jr, 85 of Richard Brown Drive formerly of Baltic and Lisbon, died Friday December 18, 2015 in William W. Backus Hospital. Born in Lisbon, he was the son of the late Calvin E. Gray, Sr. and the late Orpha (Church) Gray.
Ki was a truck driver for Teamsters Local 493. He was a Korean army veteran. A Ford man through and through, he enjoyed Nascar, gardening and the Boston Red Sox. He was a devoted democrat. He took great pride in supporting his grandchildren in anything they were involved in.
Ki is survived by his son, Tom Gray and his wife Karie of Baltic,; his three daughters, Cindy Bailey and her husband Allan of Wolfeboro, NH, Bonnie Tessier and her husband Tony of Bumpass, VA, and Donna Batten of Florida; two brothers Robert Gray of Canterbury and Kenneth Gray of Lisbon; ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two sisters Janet Lindell and Priscilla Bibeau and his brother Richard Gray.
