Callie Gordon Sewell Caruthers, 92, of Ringgold passed away Saturday, July 9, 2005 in a local health care facility. She was born October 31, 1912 to Homer and Fannie Shannon Sewell in Newnan, Coweta Co., GA. Mrs. Caruthers moved to Chattanooga as a teenager where she joined the Central High School Class of 1930. In 1933 she married Paul Franklin “Frank” Caruthers. Mr. and Mrs. Caruthers moved to Catoosa Co., GA in 1966. She was the bookkeeper for Dr. Fay B. Murphy for many years. Mrs.
