Caleb “KK” Kinder, 20 died Monday March 25, 2013 in Indianapolis.
He was a resident of Greenwood. Caleb was born May 8, 1992 in Indianapolis; parents are Angela and Billy Hood.
Caleb better known to many as “KK” worked various jobs recently being the Uncle Sam for Liberty Tax Service and helping with his Uncle Kenny’s Towing Service. Caleb attended Center Grove Schools getting his GED at 19. He loved anything Camo, with Redneck being a common word with him.
He valued his family, especially his brothers, being the best big brother ever. Hunting, fishing and a huge passion for diesel and Dodge trucks, were very important to him. Caleb’s dream was to have a diesel truck that smoked. Caleb was a volunteer fire fighter with the Pike County Fire Department. He was famous for wearing a yellow neon reflective T-shirt, even though he was not working parking cars. He loved volunteering, recently working the Susan B. Komen Diesel Run, to raise funds for Breast Cancer. Caleb was an IOPO donor and he blessed 75 people.
Survivors include his parents, Angela and Billy Hood, 3 brothers, Matthew, Jonathan and Daniel Hood all of Greenwood, grandfather, Donald Herndon, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Caleb was preceded in death by, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hood and Sandra Herndon
