Caleb Cowart, Jr., 81, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Hospital due to heart failure. Caleb was born January 30, 1933, in Avon Park, Florida to Caleb & Bernice Cowart and has lived in Lakeland since 1973. Caleb retired from the United States Air Force and was also a retired aircraft upholsterer.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Iris Cowart; son, Steve Cowart; daughters, Sharon Duncan and Terri Reynolds; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
