Charles Wayne Humpherys passed away Monday, 10 July 2017 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Wayne was born 29 November 1930 in Bennington, Idaho. He was the third child of David C. Humpherys and Murita Ellen Keetch.
Wayne attended schools in Dingle and Montpelier. He worked for his Grandfather Keetch as a young man ranching and farming.
Wayne was drafted into the military in May 1951 where he served as a military policeman in the Korean War.
After returning home from the war, he met and married his eternal companion Larna Lewis. They were married in the Logan LDS Temple on 22 November 1954. They have been married for 62 ½ years.
Wayne worked for different phosphate companies throughout his life as a mechanic welder, retiring from Rhone-Poulenc in 1993.
