C. Lynn Shenk, 88, of Boiling Springs, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born September 28, 1925 in Boiling Springs, he was a son of the late David N. and Sara E. (Cohick) Shenk.
Mr. Shenk was retired from Gulf Oil Corporation.
He was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and was a U S Army veteran of World War II.
Lynn was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Carlisle and was also a nearly 60 year member of Cumberland Star Lodge #197 F&AM, Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by five brothers: Paul, Cloyd, Dale, Mark and Max.
Surviving are his wife: Evelyn (Weaver) Shenk; two daughters: Priscilla Myrick of Carlisle and Linda Gensler of Boiling Springs; a son: Christopher Shenk of Waymart, Pa; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
