C. Leslie “Les” Wagner, 87, of Freeport, died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 in Menifee, California.
Born June 29, 1916 in Dakota he was the son of Charles V. and Sarah (Lapp) Wagner. He married Racheal Fink January 16, 1943 in Kahaka, Missouri.
He was a milk hauler for 22 years, then a machinist for Mechanical Universal Joint, and then worked at First Presbyterian Church until his retirement in 1992.
Surviving are one son, Lee (Lois) Wagner of Menifee, California; one step-son, David Gitchel of Clearwater, Florida; one sister, Mary Stamm of Afolkey; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
His parents; one stepson; two brothers; and one sister preceded him in death.
