C. Elwood Krimm, 94, formerly of Willow Street, Montoursville, died Monday, October 18, 2010, at Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing, where he had resided for two months.
Elwood retired in 1978 after 31 years with Textron and had his own landscaping business prior to working at Textron. He was a member of First Baptist Church, one of the founders of the Avco Credit Union and had served as a steward for Local 787.
Born January 23, 1916 in Williamsport, he was the son of Charles B. and Helen M. Lape Krimm.
Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Krimm of Katy, TX; a daughter, Ann Louise Breining of Monroe, CT; grandchildren, Susan (Hal) Oven of Nashville, TN, Dr. Scott (Brenda Jo) Breining of Winston-Salem, NC and Heather Krimm; and several nieces and nephews.
Elwood was predeceased by his wife, the former Ursula N. Wright, and siblings, Dr. George Krimm and Mary Theresa Withey.
