C. David Wool, 62, of 45 Rabbit Patch Lane, Trout Run, died January 3, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a brief illness.

Dave and his wife, the former Carol A. Woodring, celebrated their 37th anniversary on July 7, 2010.

Dave was co-owner of the former Wool Concrete Block and had worked at Textron. He was a former member of the Lycoming County Beagle Club, enjoyed his wood shop, restoring old cars, spending time with his family and loved nature and driving around the Cogan House Valley.

Born August 6, 1948 in Williamsport, he was the son of Walter M. (Bub) and Mary K. Flook Wool.

Surviving besides his wife, are his mother of Cogan Station; sons, Carl David Wool II of Cogan Station, Todd Alan Wool of Montgomery, William E. Kane of Lock Haven, Robert J. Kane of Williamsport and Kelly L. (Patti) Kane of Montoursville; a daughter, Kim A. (James) Kane of Trout Run; brothers, Walter C. “Mike” Wool of Williamsport, Alfred E. (Connie) Wool and Samuel M. (Gloria) Wool, both of Cogan Station; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
