Mr. Hickerson was born December 5, 1921 in Belton the son of Charles and Undine G. (Strange) Hickerson. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. He married Virginia Payne, December 18, 1949 in Amarillo.
They made their home in Belton. Mr. Hickerson was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hickerson of Belton, one brother Mac Hickerson of Belton, two sisters Charlene Hickerson of Belton and Hazel Ann Blue of Kingwood.
