Byron Juan “Pete” Baden, age 82, passed away on October 2, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Severn. Pete was the beloved husband of Nancy Krebs-Baden, dear father of Robert Irons, Timothy, Paul and Philip Baden and Sandra Ader. He was also the loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren.
Pete served his country in the US Army from 1951 – 1954.
He belonged to the Hudson Car Club, the American Legion – Quarterfield, VFW – Dorsey Road and NRA Benefactor Life Member.
Pete enjoyed showing cars, especially his Hudson Hornet which won 1st prize many times. He also loved racing cars, but his passion was being a musician of Country music and played with the same band for 50 years. He played the pedal steel guitar, six string and bass and also was the business manager and producer of his wife, Nancy’s music ministry.
