Bryon Gregory Ellison passed away August 5th 2022 at his home in Morriston Florida. Byron

Ellison and his wife Barbara Ellison were married for 50 years before her passing on February

18, 2022. They were childhood friends before their marriage for 15 years.

He was born on October 30th, 1936 and raised in Clearwater Florida, the only child of Byron J

Ellison and Dorthy Ellison. As a young child, Byron was on Broadway and in plays such as Life

With Father and I Remember Momma. At age 14, Byron maintained and ran a radio show at

WTAN. Byron then began his pilot training at 16 and got his license the same year. At 17 he

joined The United States marines, where he specialized in electronics. He continued applying

his skills in electronics at the company RCA, NASA, and national defense. He was project

manager at AUTEC, and then went into private business. This included being a stockbroker,

being heavily involved in the aviation business, and the restaurant business where he managed

27 burger kings. In his later life, he created a business called Exchange Street which was

involved in radio stations, telephone companies, bankruptcies for a federal judge, and many

other projects. He also authored 10 books and over 27 articles. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Byron is preceded in death by his mother and father, his wife Barbara-Ann Patton Ellison,

daughter Colleen T. Moringstar and his son Richard L. Ellison-Craig.

Lincoln Mobley, Kennedy Mobley, Caroline Webb, Dean Webb, Gunner Kirkland, Jack Kirkland,

Edward Holtz, Mia Morningstar, Isaiah Morningstar, Andrew, Trent and Oliver Ellison, Tristen,

Treyce and Irelynne Edworthy and Emily, Isiah and Sebastian; his great great granddaughter:

Luna Waring.
