Butch Rucker of Westminster, Colorado passed away on May 22, 2017 at the age of 51. Butch grew up in Arvada with his single mom Mariann, learning life’s lessons of honesty, respect for others, love of family, and hard work, attending Arvada High School and then onto Colorado State University. For the past 28 years, Butch worked in the Natural Fuel Industry most recently as a Field Support Supervisor. Butch had many hobbies including rebuilding of collector cars, attending drag boat races in Arizona, dirt bike racing, NHRA, NRA and many outdoor activities. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 27 years, Christine; his mother, Mariann and step-father, Rich Lavender. He also leaves behind his uncle, Ab Travis (Skeeter), aunt, Teri Kriznar (Barry), and his cousins, Ang (Eric), Tyler, and many great friends that he considered his family. Butch was a kind hearted and giving man who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
