Burt A. Motta, 67, of Ridgefield, husband of Joanne (LaDelfa) Motta, died on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Mr. Motta was born in Mt. Vernon, NY, on March 3, 1955, a son of the late Benjamin and Lucy (Telesca) Motta. He attended Ridgefield schools and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Technology from Gateway Technical College of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
A resident of Ridgefield since 1956 coming from Mt. Vernon, Mr. Motta was the recently retired Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Foreman for the Town of Ridgefield. Burt was also a recipient of the Town of Ridgefield’s Employee of the Year.
A Harley Davidson enthusiast, he was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) since 1986.
In addition to his wife, together for 46 years, Mr. Motta is survived by a son Blaise Motta and his wife Elizabeth of Redding, CT, a daughter Carly Fauteux and her husband Codey of Goose Creek, SC, and three grandchildren, Ronan Motta, Desmond Motta, and Asher Fauteux. In addition to his parents, Mr. Motta was predeceased by his brother Paul.
