Burnice M. ”Bernie” Campbell, 91, Anderson, died June 16, 2004 at Rawlins House, Pendleton after a brief illness.

He was born December 23, 1912 in White County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area since 1930.

He retired in 1973 as a shipping clerk from Dietzen’s Bakery after 43 years of service. He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #77 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and the Murat Temple Shrine Club.

He enjoyed carpentry and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his Two Daughters: Janet L. & husband Arnold Hansell of Lafayette. Mary Ann & husband Tom Smith of Anderson. Four Grandchildren: Rick & wife Karen Hansell of Farmersburg. Brad Smith of Anderson. Brian Smith of Anderson. Brenda & husband Steve Cochran of Anderson. Two Great Grandchildren: Tom Hansell of Hickory, North Carolina. Steve Hansell of Terre Haute. Several Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded by his Wife: Areva D. Simmons Campbell on February 21, 1995. One Son: Tommie Joe Campbell. Two Sisters: Kathleen Herron and Helen Bricker. Parents: Thomas M. & Bertha B. Hart Campbell.
