Mrs. Burnese Wyatt, age 90, of Lanett, Al., passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Arbor Springs Health and Rehab in Opelika, Al.
Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her daughter, Patsy (Tommy) McKenzie of Fortson, Ga.; son, Randall (Linda) Wyatt of Auburn, Al.; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Chase) Tucker, Robyn (Keith) Little, and Paige Wyatt; four great grandchildren, Jordan Tucker, Anna Claire Little, Pearson Little, and Harrison Little.
Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Forrest Wyatt; her parents, Curtis and Mary Alice Kitchens; her brother, Charles Kitchens; her sister, Weebie Kitchens.
Mrs. Wyatt was born on September 27, 1923 in Lanett, Alabama. She was a member of the Lanett First United Methodist Church. She was a life long resident of the Greater Valley area and a former employee of West Point Pepperell’s Fairfax Mill.
