Burl J. Delp, 69, Anderson, died November 6, 2002 at at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born August 27, 1933 in Arkansas, and had lived in Anderson for most of his life. He worked for the Anderson City Street Department for several years.

He was an Airforce veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Anderson Order of Eagles, Aerie #174. His family is proud of the many years he took care of and was dedicated to his mother.

He is survived by his brothers, Ray L. ”Red” and wife Trudy Delp of Springhill, FL and Lee Roy & wife Kathy Delp of Springhill, FL; aunt, Glenda Ross of Anderson; nieces, Jeanie Meredith of Pendleton and Theresa Edward of Paducah, KY; a nephew, Michael Ray Delp of Phoenix, Arizona; Great-nephews, Christopher D. Riley; Brian Robinson; & John Griner; cousins: Eugenia Norris; Donna Wood; Tom Martin; Lois Bandy; Frank Bandy Jr.& Paul Bandy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Bertha Martin Delp.
