Mr. Buford “Shorty” Harrison McKeehan, Sr., age 83, of Valley, passed away on Sunday March 27, 2016 at the EAMC Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Mr. McKeehan was born on October 9, 1932 in Gastonia, North Carolina.
He was a member of the Fairfax Congregational Holiness Church. He had been employed at the Langdale Mill for over 40 years and had been in declining health for the past several years.
He is survived by his children, Buford Harrison McKeehan, Jr., Martha Louise Cantrell, Elizabeth Jeanette Crenshaw, Jeffery Lee McKeehan; grandchildren, James McKeehan, April Williams, Danny Crenshaw, Vickie Crenshaw, Angela Roorbach, Nathan Crenshaw, Bryan McKeehan, Patricia McKeehan, Erica Crenshaw, Katelyn Evans, Conner Evans; great grandchildren, Van Williams, Gracie Crenshaw, Madison Williams, Sydnee Harrison.
