Buddy Allen passed away at his home in Morgans Point, TX on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age 79 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Buddy was born on October 31, 1941 in Clyde, TX to Evalena and Bascom (Pete) Allen. He married Pat on October 25, 1962 in Hobbs, NM where they worked and lived until 2018.

Buddy began his career working in the oilfield as a Roughneck, Driller, and Tool Pusher. A man of many talents, he taught himself to weld in 1976 and began working for himself. In 1989, he and Pat purchased a perforating gun repair shop and named it Buddy’s. In 1994, they expanded to include trucking and renamed the business Buddy’s Oilfield Delivery Service. They owned the business until their retirement in 2008.

Buddy was an extraordinary man that many called a friend and father. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and one nephew. He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Tricia, Shay and her husband Ryne, and Lindsey; sons, Barry and Eldon; and “adopted” children Lynndee McCurry, Jason Jarrett and his wife Stacy, and Junior Fuentes and his partner Toby. Other survivors include many nieces, nephews, aunts, and his longtime domino partner LB Poole.
