Bud Turk passed away peacefully on March 22, 2018, at his home in the company of family. He was born in Loma Linda, CA on July 20, 1929. He lied about his age and joined the Merchant Marines when he was 15 years old. He served proudly in the pacific war zone during World War II from 1944 to 1949. After returning home from the war, he joined the San Bernardino, CA Fire Department. He also became a magician and a hypnotist. Although he always had a warm place in his heart for his fellow firefighters. At a seminar in San Francisco, while performing his hypnotic demonstration, it was obvious that Bud was in the wrong business, and he was offered and accepted a lucrative sales position. He soon formed his own company and eventually had offices across the country. He was ahead of his time. His products included water softeners, built-in vacuum systems and wireless remote speaker systems with cassette tapes.
