Bud D. Lloyd, 81, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2009 from complications due to pneumonia and stroke.

He was born on August 8, 1927 in Twin Falls, Idaho.  He grew up on a farm near Grace, Idaho.  He was a patriot and served in the US Navy Construction Battalion (CB) in the Philippines at the end of WWII.  Bud married his sweetheart, Jo Ann Grigg, on June 18, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He loved flying his private airplane, attending air shows and building R/C airplanes.  He also served as captain of the Civil Air Patrol in Boise, Idaho.  He was an outdoors man and loved camping, boating, hunting and fishing.  He was the ultimate “Mr. Fix It” and could fix anything.  Bud loved woodworking and metalworking and took pride in his creations.  As a life-long learner, Bud would teach himself if he didn’t know how to do something.

Bud will be especially missed by his wife, Jo Ann; four children: Scott, Joanna (Harmon), Deanna (Bingham), and Teresa (Jacobs); 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters and brother: Margaret (Hill), Dwight Davis, and Verna (Newell).  He is preceded in death by his parents, Parley Lea Lloyd and Anna Elmira McClellan; sisters and brothers: Connie, Lois, Rosary, Parley, Golden, Melvin, and Kenneth.
