Bryce Schany, 18, the son of Bruce and Sherry (Hamilton) Schany was born September 5, 2000 in Spirit Lake, Iowa  He was raised and received his education in West Bend.

Bryce was a student at the West Bend Mallard High School. He worked at many jobs, including mowing lawns for Northwest Telephone Company, working for Kampen Foods and Cenex in West Bend.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Sherry of West Bend, maternal grandparents, Shirley (Jani) Hamilton and Gary Hamilton, paternal grandfather Richard Schany, brothers: Chad (Meaghan) Schany, Travis (Carly) Schany, Cody (Mallory) Hamilton and Jacob (Sara) Hamilton, nephews Beau, Blake and Max and nieces Brynn and Piper. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bettie Marie Schany

Bryce loved to golf, being involved and following quiz bowl, because he was a “trivia” kind of guy.  He loved being outside, golfing, driving his car, walks and spending time with his girl friend , Alora.

Bryce was known for always being helpful, pleasant, smiling, cheerful and never shy with a kind word. He was never afraid to have a conversation or chat with someone. He was a soft hearted and sensitive young man; sometimes too much so. He loved to come up with silly puns and was fairly interested in the political atmosphere. He loved to play on his computer and want to attend Iowa Central College to pursue a career in the IT field.

He will be missed by all who loved him and those who came in contact with him in school and at his jobs.
