Mr. Bryant Rackley, Jr. was born on September 12, 1944 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Rackley, Sr.
Bryant accepted Christ at an early age. He attended elementary and secondary schools in Choctaw County. Following graduation from high school, he joined the Navy and took a trade in welding. After being discharged from the Navy, he returned home and married the love of his life, Mrs. Ruby Needham and they made their home in St. Petersburg, FL. They later returned to Lisman, AL, where he remained until he became ill. He was hospitalized and later transferred to Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko, Mississppi.
Mr. Rackley made his transition on June 16, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, two sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Joyce Rackley Thigpen, McDonald, GA; four sisters, Azaline R. Butler, Auburn, AL; Rosie B. Wallace, Butler, AL; Annie R. Bascomb, Tuskegee, AL; Ruby R. Tinsley, Evansville, IN; one brother, Benjamin P. Rackley, Tuskegee, AL; four sisters-in-law, Barbara G. Rackley, Celia Rackley, Ada Carlisle and Anita Carlisle; one brother-in-law, Peter Wallace; three grandchildren, Jermaine, Christine and Breanna; many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
