Bryant Kent Rowley Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on August 1, 2024. Born on November 16, 1944, Bryant lived a full and vibrant life, deeply touching the lives of those around him.Predeceased by his loving parents, Marlyn Jean Rowley and Bryant Kent Rowley, Sr., and his beloved son, Will Rowley. Bryants memory will be forever treasured by those who survive him. He is survived by his devoted wife of nine years, Vera Rowley; his daughter, Renatta Parinas; and his step-sons, Victor Hunter (Gail) and John Hunter (Marie); his sister, Jean Flack (Rick). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Adelynn, Wyatt, Amanda (Zachary), and David (Alex) as well as his many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.Bryants life was marked by his deep faith and commitment to Jesus that he shared with everyone. He was a dedicated member of Rivers United Church, where he actively participated in two small groups, forming lasting bonds. An enthusiast of radio-controlled airplanes, Bryant was a proud member of Hampton Roads Radio Control, Inc., where he spent countless hours honing his skills and sharing his passion with others. His love for the outdoors was evident in his proficiency as a marksman and his joy of hunting. He was always active in boating, fishing, golfing, crafting stained glass, drafting, and building.Bryant was known for his unwavering loyalty and willingness to help others, qualities that made him a cherished friend to many. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and he will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.
