Bryant Alan Specht, of Allentown died on Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. He was 51. He was born on March 19, 1963 in Allentown, PA. He attended St. Paul’s elementary school and Salisbury High School. He was an Air Force Reservist Staff Sargent from 1981 to 1987. In 1991, he married Susan Specht, and together they had 3 children. Bryant and Susan divorced in 2008. Bryant worked for Duggan & Marcon Construction Co. and was a member of the Local 600 Carpenter’s Union. He was an excellent carpenter and remodeled many homes. Bryant dedicated himself to his children. He was a unique soul, very funny and enjoyed playing practical jokes on people; as well as a large supporter of Liberty High School Baseball Organization, having never missed a game while his son played and coached. He was also known for his love of the Boxer dog breed, having owned many throughout his lifetime. He will be greatly missed. Bryant is survived by his son, Alex and daughters, Lauren and Mia; brother, Tony and his wife Tina; nephews, Tyler and Logan; niece, Hailee; parents, Donald C. Specht and Judith K. Mawhinney.
