Bryan R. Cookman, 63, of Anderson, passed away on January 11, 2021, at Lindberg Crossing after an extended illness. He was born in Anderson, Indiana where he lived his entire life.
Bryan graduated from Lapel High School in 1975 and graduated from Anderson Vocational School with an Associates Degree in HVAC. He started his career with Nardco before opening his own HVAC business. After selling his business, he was employed by the Engineering Department at St. John’s Hospital. Before the worsening of Bryan’s Multiple Sclerosis, he was an avid cook, skeet shooter, and golfer. He enjoyed watching and talking about the Indianapolis Colts, NASCAR, and Indiana University basketball.
Bryan is survived by his loving daughter, Jama (Ryan) Ott; granddaughters, Keira and Gabriella Ott; sister, Beth (Fred) Glynn; niece, Jayda Glynn; Melanie Cookman; and several other supportive friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy (Smith) Cookman.
