Bruno Andersson, born in Gothenburg, Sweden on November 16, 1937, died suddenly of a heart attack on May 20, 2019. He emigrated to America in 1959 and joined his family who had arrived the year prior. Together they moved from Boston to New York City, landing in Elmhurst, Queens. Bruno worked for Malcus Tools Corporation, a Swedish drill manufacturing company, where he met Anne Respol. Bruno and Anne were married on July 23, 1966. They were the best of friends, enjoying each other for their almost 53 years together. When Malcus was bought by the large Swedish manufacturing firm SKF, Bruno eventually rose to become president of its American branch. His final years in the workforce before retirement were in finance with the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He and Anne have been parish members of the St.
