On February 21, 2022, Bruce Wayne Coddington Sr., 67, passed away at home in Lafayette, Indiana.
Bruce was born on August 5, 1954, in Lafayette, to the late Olin and Ruth Coddington. He attended Lafayette Jefferson High School. Bruce married his beloved “ol’ lady” Peggy (Dewey) Coddington on December 6, 1975.
Bruce was a truck driver who enjoyed spending time with his family. His favorite activities were bowling, fishing, cook-outs, and going to the casinos.
In addition to his wife, Peggy, Bruce is survived by his children, Wayne (Mindy) of Lafayette, Rebecca (Jordan) Swaney of Williamsport, and David (Tifni) of Battle Ground; grandsons, Connor Coddington, Cadyn Coddington, and Riley Swaney; as well as his siblings, Shirley Green of Lafayette, Carolyn Minkler of Fort Worth, Texas, Robert (Nancy) Coddington of The Villages, Florida, and Ronald (Barb) Coddington of Lafayette.
Bruce was preceded in death by his siblings, Beverly, Deborah, Dora, Edward, John, and Don.
Bruce was the proud recipient of the Father of the Year award since 1975.
