Bruce Paul Brenner, 77 of Centennial, CO, passed away on March 8, 2017 in Englewood, CO.  He was born on June 26, 1939 in Oak Park, IL, the son of Frank and Catherine (Schade) Brenner.  After graduating high school he joined the US Army where he served from 1963-1965.  In 1967 he graduated from North Park College with a Bachelors of Science in Economics.  On December 20, 1968 he married Phyllis Marie Calabrese in Denver, CO.  They were married for 48 years.  They raised four children together while he worked as a sales manager at a car dealership.  He loved jazz music, gardening, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, Centennial, CO; daughters, Jennifer Carter, Parker, CO and Susan Brenner, Denver, CO; sons, Peter Brenner, Castle Rock, CO and Joseph Brenner, Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Barbara Brenner, Chicago, Il; brothers, Tim, Lakewood, CO, and Tom Brenner, Chicago,IL; and 5 grandchildren.

After 48 years of marriage Bruce’s wife write this poem for him:

You will always be My Forever Love
I feel your touch from heaven above
To comfort me in times of sorrow

The sound of your laughter fills my heart with joy
I close my eyes and see your face
And I know that you are in a better place
Your touch, your smile
All of you is a part of me
And you will always be
