Bruce Miller Robb Age 69 of Owosso passed away peacefully Friday, August 1, 2014 at his home.Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, August 8, 2014 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Strawser officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday form 2 to 8pm. There will be a luncheon following the service at his home to celebrate his life.Bruce was the son of Glen and Beulah (Miller) Robb born in St. Louis, MO on June 6, 1945.He graduated from New Albany High School in Indiana where he was a 4 year varsity football player who won Indiana All-State Tackle along with being a 4 year varsity wrestler. Bruce earned both a bachelor and masters degree from Ball State. He worked at Owosso High School for 32 years and retired in 2000 where he had been employed as an Industrial Arts Teacher along with being owner of Robb Construction. He was a master craftsman and enjoyed problem solving to figure out how to make things work. Bruce was also a hunter and admired the beauty of nature. He was a loving husband, father, brother and good friend to many. Bruce will be missed.He was a member of the Lansing and National Muzzle Loading Gun Club, ARC Shiawassee, Shiawassee County Mental Health Board, Shiawassee Parks and Recreation Board and Past Shiawassee County Commissioner.Bruce is survived by his wife Laurel Robb of Owosso; sons Randall Robb of Owosso and Michael (Julie Shultz) Robb of New York, NY; mother Beulah Robb of Marion, IN; sister, Glenda (Kim) Rogers Marion, IN; brother, Dean (Betsy) Robb of Honolulu, HI; several nieces and nephews and many good friends.He was predeceased by his father Glen Robb.Memorial contributions are suggested to Lansing Muzzle Loading Gun Club, 7915 E.
