Bruce L. Draper, 89, Indianapolis, passed away August 9, 2011 at Decatur Township Care & Rehab-Indianapolis. He was born February 4, 1922 in Wayne County, Illinois.
He lived in Anderson from 1941-1972, retiring to Florida and then Alabama until moving to Indianapolis in 1995. Bruce served his country in the US Navy. He retired from Nicholson File and from Draper Auto & Trailer Sales in 1972.
Bruce attended Southwest Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis and attended New Life Church of the Nazarene while living in Anderson.
He is survived by his son, Erenest Draper Barbara of Celina, Ohio; daughter, Beverly Murphy of Indianapolis; sister, Louise Collins; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife whom he married April 7, 1941, Erma Draper in November 1995; parents, Cly & Effie Richardson Draper; grandchild, Keith Allen Draper; son-in-law, Jim Murphy and sister, Elaine Windish.
