Bruce Daryl Owens Passed Away, June 20, 2010, Bruce was born in Los Angeles Cal. in January 15, 1941.
He spent his childhood on the Venice beaches and the Santa Monica pier. He enlisted in the Air Force as a young man and was Honorably Discharged after becoming a Paramedic, and training in some of the Air Forces first pilot rescue programs. He then spent fifteen years as a Paramedic for the City of Los Angeles. He retired early from public service to pursue a career in broadcasting, the culmination of which included owning several radio stations in California and Arizona.
He retired in Flagstaff and is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Alma Sue “Susie” Owens, children Penny, Polly, Bruce and wife Thera, and Erin “The Baby!”, and nine grand children, one brother, one sister and a mother in law who made the best pie‘s he ever ate. He was and will be loved and missed more than he would ever know.
