Bruce is a 1972 graduate of Muncie Central High School and later married the love of his life, Patricia “Patty” (Davis) Privett on August 25, 1974 in Muncie. Mr. Privett had worked for Chevrolet in 1974 prior to going to work for Delco-Remy in Anderson many years later eventually became the Supervisor in the Security Dept. prior to his disability in 2005. He had been a member of the United Auto Workers Union, loved to water ski, swim, and camp and even coached his sons, baseball and basketball teams. Family times were always his favorite!
Besides his wife of 43 years, Patty, he is survived by two sons, Brian Privett (wife- Kristin), Muncie and Nathan Privett, Anderson; one daughter Angie Ippel (husband-Erik) , Yorktown; six grandchildren, Katelynn, Ciara, Gavin, Tanner, Destini and Owen; his mother, Barbara Privett, Muncie; one brother, Jim Privett (wife-Sandy), Gaston; one sister, Pam Crouch, Muncie; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Privett; and an uncle, David Williams.
