Brittnie Nicole Stinnett was born October 20, 1989 to Taurese M. Stinnett, Sr. and Nicole Spires in Maywood Illinois. Brittnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Nnena Valencia Hoskins-Stinnett; her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Stinnet; aunts, Gloria (Jean), and Earnestine (Pean) Travis, and Nnena McCarty; uncle, Henry (Ronnie) Spires; cousin, Dorrian Wilbert.
Brittnie expressed a hope in Christ at an early age.
Brittnie was educated in the Proviso Township School system and graduated from Proviso West High School on May 25, 2008, but was unable to walk across the stage. Brittnie furthered her education at Triton College.
On May 24, 2008, Brittnie gave birth to a baby girl named Nnena Valencia Hoskins-Stinnett. Brittnie worked at Walmart and DSW and later on Bellwood Sweets Shop, until her health started to fail. Brittnie loved bowling, house parties, eating out, shopping at the mall, walking the streets and hanging out at clubs. She wanted to travel more than anything, but her health just wouldn’t allow her to.
Brittnie being such a private person couldn’t hide the fact of having Crohn’s since the age of 15, nor having (leukemia) for the last three years. When you ask how are you doing, she loved giving her basic answer’s: The same; no difference; So So; lil bit; Not good; feel worst; umm so so; can’t talk.
Brittnie leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Taurese (Hikema) M. Stinnett, Sr., and Nicole Spires (Nate); two brothers, Kaylon Rouse, and Taurese (Arielle) M. Stinnett, Jr.; four sisters, Tauriona Stinnett; Kiara Wesley, and Keamya and Jwanna Ferguson; grandparents, William and Lynder Stinnett, Sr., Linda Spires, and Lula White; three uncles, William (Nadeasha) Stinnett, Jr., Brandon (Mahogany) Stinnett, Sr., and Thaddeus McElrath; ten aunts, Katrina, Candyce and Willie Ann Stinnett, Sandra, Wilma and Cheryl McElrath, Trina and Tasha White, Sadie Alston, and Cheryl Carter; seven nephews, August, Kaymere; Gideon, Azarius, Aiden, Josiah, and Jahmir; four nieces, Amareeah, Eternitee Treasure, Kailani, Kamilya; ten special cousins, Chantelle, Kiara, Tequira, Arianna, Darian, Jovan, Dennis, Denzel, Tina, and Terrie; seven special sisters, Erika, Derriece, Shante, Raven, Mesha, Larissa, and Shawnya; and a multitude of cousins, friends, and loved ones.
