Brittany Nanette Busby, 33, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on July 9, 2020.
She was born on August 4, 1986 in Anderson, Indiana where she resided all of her life. Brittany graduated from Anderson High School in 2004, attended Anderson University, and worked for Teleservices Direct in Anderson. She loved going to the races, roller skating, and shopping. She had a huge personality, and never met a stranger. She made friends everywhere she went, was a loving, caring, and compassionate person, and would help anyone in any way she could.
Brittany is survived by her parents, Lisa and Tim Portwood; sister, Lindsey Portwood; grandparents, Terry (Becky) Busby; uncles, Brent (Staci) Busby and Bobby Hamblin; aunts, Terri Meranda and Sharon Alfrey; cousins, Haleigh Busby, Logan Bennett, Brooklyn Busby, Bryson Busby, Karsten Vandiver, Rick Portwood, TJ Meranda; and several very special friends.
She was preceded in death by her “Mammie” Nanci Busby-Potts; grandma, Betty Portwood, and special friend Amanda Dawn Pitts.
