A loving wife and mother and accomplished businesswoman, Brightsie Willis Stroud, 79, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Living most of her life in Glen Burnie, MD, Brightsie at the time of her passing was a resident of Simpsonville, SC.
Brightsie was a strong woman who knew what she wanted and worked hard to accomplish her goals. Yet, she exuded kindness and found great joy in making the people around her happy. She maintained a positive attitude through any challenges placed before her.
Brightsie enjoyed life on every level with her husband, best friend and soul mate, Bobby Gene Stroud. Their love for each other found that perfect balance. The twinkle in Brightsie’s eye let you know she held a special place in her heart for Bob who was with her at the end.
Her business successes created many opportunities for them to travel the world and enjoy recognition for her numerous accomplishments.
