Bridget Mary Nocera, of Bristol, beloved widow of Paddy Nocera, passed away peacefully into heaven on Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Bridget was born January 31, 1914, in the town of Castlemaine, County Kerry, Ireland, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Fitzgerald) Nagle.
Bridget came to the United States as a war bride with her late husband Paddy Nocera, who was stationed in London, England where they met and married during WW II. Bridget overcame many obstacles in her life, not being able to hear or speak never kept her from accomplishing what she believed in. Bridget was a woman of strong Irish belief and the pride that will be remembered and continued on by her loving daughter Rosemarie (Nocera) Bussett and fiancé Richard Quick, and grandchildren Jessica and Shannon Bussett. Bridget has an extended family whom she loved as her own, Jesenia Roque, Chantelle Watson, Ivana Fileccia, Sarah McBride, Jenna Vallee, Johanna Roman, and Tatiyana McCoy. Bridget retired from The Phoenix Mutual of Hartford, and was a communicant of St.
