Bridget Ann (Bish) Guzzi 61, of Salem, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the United Hospital Center following an extended illness. She was born October 7, 1957 in Weirton, WV, the only daughter of James F. and Francis E. (Bridget) Bish, who precedes her in death.
Bridget is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Joseph E. Guzzi; two brothers, Shane Bish and his wife Darcy of LaPort, IN, Brian Bish and his wife Gina of Grafton; brother-in-law, James A. Guzzi and his wife Susie of Salem; sister-in-law, Vickey West of Birmingham, AL; stepmother, Johna Bish of Clarksburg; two step sisters, Stephanie Manson and husband Dean, Bridgeport, Andrea Lough and husband Roger, Clarksburg; five nephews, Tyler, Kyle, Caleb, Bryson Bish and Anthony Guzzi and his fiancé, Alisha Moreno; three nieces, Payton Bish, Christine Basco and Jamie Esposito; two great nephews, Nicholas Basco and Johnny Esposito; one great niece, Sierra Basco; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved dog, Katy.
She also had numerous close friends who were near and dear to her. She will be missed by so many, for she always had time to listen and offer help in her kind, generous way.
Bridget loved to bake, especially cookie trays at Christmas time, and was an excellent cook. She loved to entertain her family and friends, decorate for all the holidays, shop, travel, and enjoyed her trips to Italy and Ireland.
