Brian W. Smith, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018. He was born on March 22, 1969 to William and Donna (Case) Smith in Kalamazoo.
Brian attended and graduated from Climax-Scotts High School and Ferris State University. His marriage to Karmyn Kinzle ended in divorce but blessed him with a precious daughter, Sara Marie Smith.
Brian was an Eagle Scout, loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed looking for Petoskey stones with his daughter. He was a member of Climax United Methodist Church.
Brian is survived by his daughter, Sara M. Smith; parents, Bill and Donna Smith; two sisters, Desiree (Roger) Graves and Tracy (Robert) Scherer; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
