(June 03, 1942 to November 14, 2010 )

Resident of Norwalk, Connecticut

Brian Patrick Reilly, age 68 of Norwalk, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at home. A life-long resident of Norwalk, he was the son of Thomas F. and Winifred Morton Reilly. He was a member of Reilly Brothers, a family business, since 1923. He served honorably with the Connecticut National Guard and belonged to many local organizations. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed skiing and hiking.

Brian was a master builder and designer from early childhood. He was an individual of integrity, whose genius and passion were legendary. He shared his knowledge and skills with many and often gave of his time freely, as was his generous nature. He was a teacher, often explaining in detail the basics and complexities of construction. Whether it was a house in Fairfield County, a rural Minnesota farmhouse, or a house in Hawaii, Brian would be the driving force to successfully complete the project.

He is survived by 5 brothers and 3 sisters: Thomas, Paul, a twin brother Gene, Richard, Daniel, Ann Driscoll, Claire Boyle and Carol Reilly; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brother John Reilly.
