Sadly, On September 27, 2021, Brian Joseph Steele, passed following a brave struggle with cancer. He was just 42.
Born and raised in the Baltimore/ Northern Anne Arundel County area, he would move across country several times but ultimately came home to Maryland.
Brian attended Glen Burnie High School where he enjoyed automotive vocational training that would turn into a great hobbie. He loved to work on cars, doing body, fender and paint work. His true hobby though, was playing guitar. From a young age when his mom bought him his first guitar he practiced his music. It wasn’t until later however that he truly learned to love playing. He had an ear for music and would practice until he perfected tunes. He occasionally played in a local band, “Fighting Chance.” Brian was also very fond of his dogs “Maggie” and “Gypsy”, who he and girlfriend Susan called “their girls.” He was a loving son and a delight to those who knew him.
Brian is survived by his dear mother Darleen Pindell (nee’ Steele) and step father Terri who raised him as his own. He will be deeply missed by his girlfriend Susan Manning. Brian will be cherished in the memories of his step brother Terri Pindell, Jr, and wife Stacy, as well as his beloved aunts and uncles, Daniel and Lisa Steele, Linda and Pete Ireland and Katherine and “Bunky” Wharren. He leaves to mourn the loss, cousins, William III, Victoria Steele and Tara Quinata and a nephew Terri Pindell, III. He will be remembered by his father Wayne and step mother Susan Lyttle. Brian joins his departed cousin Daniel Steele, Jr. in passing.
