Brian Jay George was born on August 1, 1960, and passed into Heaven on December 4, 2015. Brian gave his heart to the Lord Jesus when he was 10 years old, shortly after his father passed away. He was a graduate of JJ Pierce High School and worked for an air-condition supply house for most of his life. Brian had a kind heart and was a very loyal friend. He had friends from many various walks of life and loved to talk to them and spend time with them. He had a special place in his heart for the underdog and was always coming to their defense. Kids and dogs were just naturally drawn to his kind spirit. His Two-year old niece, Emery Lynn, adored him and won his heart. He loved his nieces and nephews, always dropping in to see those that lived close to him. He loved hanging out at the Gas Monkey and seeing all the old cars. He, of course, was a fan of the TV show Gas Monkey as well as Duck Dynasty and Swamp People. He also enjoyed listening to Joel Osteen and his positive messages. He had a very special relationship with his mother. In 2005, he moved in to share a home with her and they took care of each other. When her grandson was in the hospital, Brian rode several buses with her twice a day to go see him. He might grumble a bit, but he always did exactly what she needed.
Brian is survived by his mother, Patsy George; his brother Randy George and his wife, Rosa; sister in law, Susan George; his nephews, Chance George, Robby Collins, and Austin George; his nieces, Stacy Burns, Kylie Calvert, and Crystal Tanner; 4 great nephews; and 5 great nieces. Brian is preceded in death by his father, Dayton George; his brother, Dane George; his sister, Susan George; his sister-in-law, Debbie George; his nephew, Jason Collins; his niece, Jennifer George; his grandparents Haskell and Lucile Hunt; his grandfather Perry George; and his grandmother Durelle Tomokins.
Brian will be dearly missed by his mother, the rest of his family, and his friends.
