Brian James O’Connor, age 56, of Walker, passed away at his home on November 21, 2017. He was born on August 11, 1961 in Anoka, MN the son of George Wallace and Maxine Ann (Stimmler) O’Connor.

As a child, Brian liked spending time with his cousins and being on the farm. He graduated from Anoka High School and worked in various supper clubs around the area. Brian was also a roofer before he decided to move to Walker.  Once he was here, he took positions at Charlie’s and later at the Lucky Moose. Brian enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it was ice fishing with his nephews or just hanging out having a beer in the garage. He also liked getting wood cut and split for winter, scrapping and bringing his load to Pine River, and spending time with his dogs who he also considered his family. He took pride in his cooking and looked forward to helping with the holiday meals for his family. Brian also enjoyed helping others with processing their deer and the good conversation that came with it.  He will be missed by all his family and friends.

The family that Brian joins again are his parents; George and Maxine and his step father, Jim Spears.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his sister; Charlotte (Kurt) Paulson, nephews; Jake and Jarid Paulson, many other relatives and friends.
