Brian James Wrightington, age 37, longtime resident of Milford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 with his loving family by his side.  Born in Milford on September 9, 1977, he was the son of Julie Benway of Milford and Raymond Wrightington, formerly of West Haven.  Brian was the owner and creator of “Slap House ”, which was a not for profit program.  He had a passion for comedy and had a wonderful sense of humor, always making people laugh and lifting their spirits.  An avid NY Giants fan, he also enjoyed canvas painting in his spare time.  Brian was known for his positive, kind and generous nature and was a great friend to everyone, always there to help anyone in need.  He especially cherished being an Uncle to his nieces and nephews, and will be deeply remembered for being a devoted and loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his mother Julie and father Raymond and his wife Karen, he is survived by his siblings; Raymond Wrightington and Kristine Johnson of West Haven, William Wrightington of VA, Laurie Wrightington of NC, Kristine West-Wrightington and her fiancé Dale Stuckey of FL, Joseph Wrightington of Milford, Tracy Sanzo and her husband Giovanni of Shelton, Daniel Wrightington and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
