Brian H. Skinner, 85,  husband of Erika J. Skinner, passed away on January 27, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of Richard and Catherine Skinner both from Bletchley Bucks, England.  He was surrounded by his loving wife of 57 years and children Catherine Reno, Roland Skinner, (spouse Theresa),  Patricia (predeceased was there in spirit).  Also by his bedside were grandchildren Michelle, Brian and Jennifer Skinner and in spirit Nicole McKnight of Georgia and Christopher Reno of Massachusetts whom he gave a beautiful life too all.   Brian was born in Bletchley Bucks, England. He grew up working the family farm.  After World War II Brian and his brothers moved to Canada to find a better life.  Shortly there after he moved to the USA.  After 6 months he was drafted into the American U.S. Army.  During his first assignment in Germany he quickly met his beautiful german girl Erika. Brian and Erika enjoyed their life in the Military moving from Germany to the USA and back and forth with their family for 22 years.  He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 2  (CWO2).  Upon retirement he moved to Milford, Connecticut for the remainder of his life.  He enjoyed gardening, wood work, boating and camping. He was always hardworking and willing to help everyone who needed it. Brian got things done. His generosity brought him joy, always giving to all those around him.  He loved his family, home and especially his cup of english tea (made just so with milk and sugar). He will be immensely missed by family and friends.
